In order to meet the special requirements of the different geographical areas of the state with reference to design of projects, behaviour change communication, monitoring and evaluation of interventions, involvement of the private sector, and improving the quality of the voluntary sterilization programme, a special three-member mission of technical experts would be set up to advise the Department of Family Welfare on a continuous basis. This RCH mission would also address itself to the task of developing additional region-specific strategies.
