Private Sector projects

All the activities of SIFPSA are focussed to increase access, improve quality and promote demand for reproductive and child health services so as to achieve the overall goal and improve the quality of life of the people living in state of Uttar Pradesh. In order to achieve the above objective, various innovative approaches adopted by SIFPSA and build partnerships for creating awareness and improve service delivery for RCH and to make it as a people's programme. SIFPSA supports both public and private sector interventions in the field of service delivery, infra-structure upgradation, training, IEC etc.
 
Private Sector Partnerships

Projects have been implemented by NGOs, with their strength in community mobilization and dairy cooperatives with their extensive network, create awareness through inter personal counseling and provide family welfare services at doorsteps to people in rural areas. Corporate sector has its own strength in terms of project management and infrastructure, and to utilise that, projects were also implemented through employer sector as well. In order to cover the urban slum areas, strengths of DUDA of various districts were utilized.
 

Capacity Building of NGOs in Health Project Management

SIFPSA has recently started Certificate Course on 'Health Project Management' in order to build capacity of NGO's mid level and senior level managers. So far, 25 participants from 16 NGOs working in Uttar Pradesh successfully completed the course.
